Definitions

A DotUpDot game consists of three types of game elements: a game node, levels, and regions. The structure of a game is shown in the following table: A game consists of a game node containing levels which are divided into regions. A region is a set of rows sharing common properties. The game starts on the first row of Region 1 in Level 1. Once the player collects the necessary amount of stars for the current level he can leave it by jumping up to the level's top row. Beating the last level restarts the game at a higher difficulty setting - the player's ball bounces faster and there will be fewer restart level items to collect.
